I feel AWESOME!!!

Surgery was on Monday 9/27. I was scheduled for 9:30am but didn't go in until 1pm due to complications with the patient before me. ( I won't even go there). I was in recovery by 3pm and in my room by 4:15. As soon as I got into my room I wanted to sit at the side of the bed and even stand. With the help of the nurse and my ever so patient wife I DID IT! I never really had pain, just soreness! Totally not what I expected. I left the hospital as scheduled on Wednesday around 10:30 and by 6pm I was already taking a walk to the end of my street, something I have never done before! If anyone is having any reservations about the surgery, take it from the biggest wimp, ITS SOOO WORTH IT! Good luck to everyone! I'm glad to be on the losing side now!
