1st day home

Hello all, the surgery went well on Monday and aside from major gas pains, I am okay. I would give kingdom for a burp! I had my first food dream in the hospital. Potato Chips of all things! I still can't eat, because the gas makes me feel so full. I won't worry just yet. Pain is manageable. I am up and moving. Know I need to get in fluids and food soon. Any suggestions for gas relief?

Yes, walk, walk, walk. I was very gasy in the first wee****il I had my first BM which was mostly gas. I would rub the sides of my stomach to help move the gas down. It will pass soon. Congrats!!!!!!

Hey, Glad your home. Gas can be a real pain in the a$$. I suggest trying to lay down or sit, helps me get it out better. Other then that I really don't know what to suggest. I wish you the best. Shannon
