had my sugery the 20th :-)

hi there have posted on this site a couple times...but had mys urgery on the 20th adn woudl liek to scream fromtehmountain tops how great i feel ALREADY! was blessed and didnt have any complications adn had a short 2.5 day hospital stay. I am wondering whenthe hair loss starts? or anythign that anyone has done that has helped slow or stop this! thanks and keep on truck ing all! Melisa

Congrats, Melisa! I am happy to hear that you are feeling great. I am 5 days post op and have a cramping sensation on my left side all the time! We are New LOSERS!!!! ..... ...... I also think about hair loss. The way I understand is that you need to get your protien in and I find this difficult. I was told to sip on protien drinks in between my meals and after dinner. Right there with you, darlin! Today has been my best day yet, and I haven't really had any bad days, just learning how to get through each day~~ I, too am wondering about the hair loss. I can see a difference in my arms and legs, and I'm sure my face, but I can't see as well. Yeayay for us!! Johanna
