WOW! I can't believe my surgery is in 3 1/2 days! I am SO excited, but SO scared at the same time. My biggest fear is leaving this world and never seeing my 16 month old daughter or my beautiful wife again! My wife keeps reminding me I have a greater chance of that happening WITHOUT the surgery! (She is so strong). Good Luck to all with upcoming dates and congratulations to all that have had their surgery! You Did It! Mike

I can relate for sure Michael! My surgery is on Monday and I am going through MANY different emotions!! I worry about my kids the most. I have two boys, ages 5 and 8. My hubby is very strong but I know he hides his feelings as well. So I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. We will be losers SOON! Hang in there! Codie

Michael, I know exactly how you feel. I'm having my procedure done next Tuesday, but I've learned to leave my life in god's hands. He's carried me through life this far and I know he's going to continue to do so. I have a 3 year-old little girl myself. You'll be in my prayers.

Cheer up and chin up. After 8 days post op things are looking pretty rosy. Hardly any pain left and the pounds are flying off. You too can look forward to this. Good luck, best wishes and prayers for your successful surgery and speedy recovery.

Michael, Your not alone. I was so frightened that I would never see my little girl turn 2. (oct. 18). I was afraid more that I wouldn't see her grow up if I didn't have this surgery. It sounds like you have a wonderful wife who understands the importance of making sure your here for many years to come. You will do great and you will have your wife and baby girl there rooting for you. One thing that is pretty cool too. At least with my daughter I find that it is hard to eat to much these days. She likes to help me eat my food and usually finishes it off for me. Wishing all the best for you. Shannon
