Just released from hospital

Hey guys I had surgery on sept. 16th, was released on sun. Let me tell you, my stomach fells all gurguly every time I drink water, (i'm still on clear liquids, till monday!) I have a gassy stomach still ,it just don't fell to good. Then there are people that had surgery the same day as me and there walking around like nothing! Anyways today I get to start my protein drink,I have been eatting only jello. Good luck to everyone...Take care ....KIM

Hang in there Kim, hopefully you'll feel better after you get some protein in you. Everyone is different but try to focus on how you "expect" to feel next week and next month....you'll do great! I have surgery tomorrow and am on my second day of clear liquids and am not feeling to great, I think because I'm missing the caffeine, carbs,sugar that my body is use to, not to mention these Santa Ana winds! Take care and keep us posted on how you are doing.

I had mine on 9/9. I was all gurgly too. But is has subsided. (weird right?). One thing I realized, no matter how slow you think you've been taking in your liquids, take that first protein drink even slower......I got it stuck. But then everyone is different. Anyway, Congratulations, I'm sure all will be fine.! Take care, Debi
