Hi Kristen! I only have 3 more days so I know how you feel. I've spent alot of time here on the message boards reading messages and profiles. That seems to help in that it prepares me for what to expect and has also given me access to some great people. Other than that I just keep busy. I've been shopping alot since that seems to relieve alot of my stress, but it seems to put more stress on my husband when he sees how much I've spent! Hopefully the time will pass quickly for you and the surgery day will be here in no time. We all seem to get through it somehow. Just focus on how things will be a year from now! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Feel free to email me if you need to talk. Julia P.S. The picture of your daughter in your profile is absolutely adorable!

I don't know exactly what to say but I know that it really isn't that bad. Once you get in there things move fast and luckily your sleeping so it will only feel like a blink before your awake and ready to recover. You will sleep a lot the first day because of all the stuff they inject you with during surgery. I was on the phone after I woke up talking to my mom. I am sure you will do just great and be home before you know it. Shannon

Hi Kristen! You and I are having surgery on the same day and I know exactly how you feel! Every time I start to panic and wonder if I am doing the right thing, I just think about how thin I will be at Christmas and how much fun it will be to go shopping in "normal stores" instead of "fat stores". I will think of you when I go for surgery and I know everything will be OK. Best Wishes, Susette

I quit smoking 25 years ago and could use one now! I am more anxious than scared. Next week we will be losing forever the extra person riding our bones! Sorry buddy, you got to go, I have carried you long enough!
