Curious Question/Survey

I've been thinking alot about what I want for my last meal and was just curious about what everyone else is having or had. I know it's silly but I have to do something to keep my mind occupied so I don't go while I wait for the 23rd to arrive. I think I may have the belly buster from my favorite Chinese take out place. My last meal was at Red Lobster and was steak and chicken. We went there because my kids wanted popcorn shrimp.

My date is the 27th and I have been saying goodbye for awhile. I had my last Ben and Jerry's, I had my last chicken saltimbocca at Bucca De Beppo's, and we are going out for mexican for my final hurrah. I have been thinking about giving all these things up for so long now, that I really feel ready. Best of luck next thursday. Jill

Well I had such a hard time with that. Finally I went for pizza, fries and mozzarella sticks. I ate so freaking much I thought I was going to pop. However it was yummy and worth it. Shannon

Hey Julia.. My surgery is Monday morning bright and early.. Have to be there at 6am and surgery is at 7:30am.. It's a 2 1/2 drive to the hospital.. I want to wish you luck on your upcoming surgery.. As for my last meal which will take place tomorrow my grandparents are planning to take me out to our favorite place and I'll probably have a steak and for supper my mom is making me my favorite.. Hamburger Helper Mac n' Cheese.. I just love that stuff.. Along with a Banana pudding.. I honestly think I will pop after that.. *big hugs*.. -Shannon

Julia, my doctor said not to eat too much the night before surgery so we went on Wednesday to my favorite Mexican food restaraunt where I had my favorite "pollo con queso". It was delicious! I'll have my surgery one day before you on 9/22. Good luck and I hope all goes well for you! Trace

Last meal? In my case it was last meals . Friday I had my mom cook me one of my childhood favorites potato pankakes YUMMY! Today Sunday I had lunch my other favorite meal a small Eggplant Calzone and Onion Rings I'm stuffed!! For Dinner tonight I planed on a small piece of steak and a salad but at this point I'm thinking chicken soup.

WOW, I'm jealous! I had my last meal on Friday! My surgeon has put me on Clear Liquids for the 3 days prior to surgery. When your stomache is normal size, Clear Liquids just doesn't really satisfy the hunger, know what I mean!! Anyhow...for my last meal, we went w/ some friends to celebrate the start of my new life and say good-bye to the chubby me. I had my favorite, Crispy Chicken Burger and Onion Rings at Red Robin...I seriously ate TOO much!!! I am having my surgery on Tuesday the 21st, please keep me in your prayers, as I will pray for all of you! I included everyone having September Surgeries on the prayer list at my church this morning...you are all being thought of!! Kalisha
