UGH!!! NERVOUS, EXCITED, ANXIOUS....... :O ?
Hi Michelle
I feel the same way as you do. My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday and one minute my stomach is flipping out of excitement and then I will have little flutters of nervousness. I am more excited than nervous though. That does not mean that come Tuesday morning I won't be a total wreck. I think what we are all feeling is normal--if we did not have feelings of anxious anticipation whether happy or nervous we would not be human. I just wish that it was Thursday for me because then I know I would be back home recovering! LOL Anyway--Good luck to all of us with God's Blessings. I am going to church tonight so I will keep all of us "September" journeys in my prayers.
Hugs
Marianne
I have had a few anxious moments about the what ifs and the mortality stats , mostly because I have a 6 year old daughter, (ok, and wondering if I will really not crave all my favorites afterwards ) but mostly I feel positive and amazingly calm and just plain excited . Maybe it is because I work in health care and so I am familiar with many of the things that are unknown to others, but I just know this is the right thing for me. My mother wasn't here for my daughters birth. I plan to be around for her babies. Also looking forward to playing with her while she is still little. Physical activities and amusement parks are so hard right now but I am already planning outings for next spring.
Prayers and best wishes for all of us.
Jill
