I'm Baaaaaack!!!

Well, I had my surgery last Tuesday the 7th. I was slated to be discharged on the 9th but a little problem with a fever kept me there until the 10th. I came home late Friday evening. Saturday was no big deal, my hubby was waiting on me (that was kind of nice LOL). Sunday came with a bang. I started vomiting and couldn't stop. One phone call to my surgeon and he told me to head back to the hospital to be readmitted for testing and fluids. After deducing that it was normal post-op stuff he let me out late last night Monday night). I feel pretty ok today. He took my drain out yesterday morning while I was there. The really good news is this...last Tuesday, before I left for the hospital I weighed myself on my bathroom scale. It said 295.5. This morning that same scale said 278!!!!!! I'm so excited to be a loser!!! I'll keep updating. -Carrie

Hey Carrie, Glad to see you home safe and well. My surgery is on Monday the 20th and I am so excited but the closer it gets ...I feel a little nervous that's why I like to hear stories like yours! People home safe and sound! Cherilyn
