Newbie Intro. - having RNY surgery 9/23

Hi! My name is Julia. I live in Puyallup, Washington. I'm scheduled for an open RNY distal surgery with Dr. Oh on September 23. I'm scared, anxious, and overyjoyed that I'm finally almost on the other side. Any tips on the hospital stay and the 4 weeks on a clear liquid diet would be greatly appreciated. Nice to meet you all! Well I hap Lap Rny so I can't give you advice for the hospital because I don't know what goes on afterwards for a open RNY but I do wish you all the best with your surgery. All I have to say about the clear liquids is hang in there. It gets better. Shannon
