NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!

TODAY I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER! Dr. Kurian's office called me to switch my surgery date to the 28th. I know it is only one day later but... they gave me some excuse about block time at the O.R.? If they know that Mondays are not good why do they schedule them 6 months in advance? Not very pleased with the demeanor of one of the office people. I am also still waiting for Dr. Kurian to get back to me about some other issue. She was on vacation last week but I had e-mailed her prior to that and well... Patience is not one of my strong points... can you tell! I'M NOT FEELING THE LOVE TODAY!

Thank God they called you a head atime imagine the patients who prep for surgery take off from work go all the way to the hospital and they tell you we had to cancell, yeah it happens so count your blessings.

I totally see your point. Why not get back to you months ago instead of just 2 weeks before. I sometimes think they just don't care. I wasn't aware I needed a cardio work up because I was told it wasn't necessary for my age. Then the Monday before I am told I need it and I am like WTF?? Luckily I had one done through my PCP but then their was question of weather my surgeon would except that. I mean nothing like waiting until 4 days before surgery. I hope you get some answers because that isn't very professional. Good luck with everything though and I hope you don't encounter anymore road blocks. Shannon
