OMG 2 days!

Ok.. I am officailly nervous. I can not believe I am 2 days away from surgery. I have that anxious feeling like Im fixing to go on vacation. Oh wait.. .. I am fixing to go on vacation. But wait.. Im scared to death !! I now am feeling like Im not ready. I know this is normal.. and I haven't felt this thus far. I am ready for that jumping up and down feeling to come back. Kimie 9/14

Hi Kimie, I was definitely that nervous too but I made it here I am 5 days post op WOOHOO for me. It will all be over soon and you'll be soo proud of yourself for doing this! Melissa

You'll be alright. I think there is some kind of magic over us September people. We are all going to be just fine. hehehe Well it is sort of a vacation if you have little ones. You get a few days free and as long as your not in pain you should enjoy yourself. I wish you all the best with everything and I look forward to your post-op posts. Shannon

Kimie, I'm not one to get exceptionally emotional over things like surgeries, birthdays, ect. It's more like moving to me...and leaving all the fat behind. Sure, I'll think about my 'neighbors' named chocolate and chips from time to time, but the new neighbors are so fantastic (breathing easier and walking without pain), chocolate and chips will just have to get over it. Am I scared? No. Not when I see how people in the 'skinnier' neighborhoods live! Excited? Yes, as much as in my nature to be. So think about that new neighborhood and pack your bags full of skinny thoughts! My surgery is on Friday, the 17th. Let us know how it's going ok? Best of luck... Sherri 9/17/04
