HELLO MEMBERS WELL NINE MORE DAYS TO GO! I AM A LITTLE NERVOUS AND VERY EXCITED. I HAVE TO DO THE PRE -OP ON THE 14TH HOPEFULLY THAT WILL TURN OUT ALRIGHT. I HAVE BE DO A LOT OF WALKING AND CUTTING BACK ON SWEETS AND A FEW OTHERS THINGS LIKE JUICES THAT HAS A LOT OF SWEETNERS.I WISH TO FOR THOSE WHO ARE GOING BEFORE ME GOD BLESS AND HERE'S WISHING YOU MEET YOUR GOAL. THANKS EVERY ONE FOR THE SUPPORT YOU'RE GIVING AND HERE'S THIS COMING SUMMER WE CAN BE AT THE WE'VE SET FOR OUR SELVES.

I'm right there with you my surgery is the same day !!!!! I'm really excited too it has taken so long to get here !!!! I have been at this since Feb. I just can't wait to be on the other side. Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers. Laura

Well I wish you all the best with everything. I can't wait for your post-op posts. I did the same thing you did. I cut out the cookies I would share with my daughter and even though I drank caffiene free diet pepsi I really cut down on how many I drank. I gave up candy last year but I did do it in preperation for the surgery. I think it is important because going from one night of finishing everything on your plate to waking up post-op and not getting any food for a few days can't be easy. I have a tip for not getting any water the first day. Getting through day 1 is hard especially if your surgery is real early and you don't sleep most of it away. The best thing for me was just trying to totally keep liquids off my mind. Not thinking about it kept my mouth from getting dry. Not to mention I drank a lot the night before surgery until just before 11pm. Shannon
