Hi all! I'm home!

Other than being a little sore, and a little wiped out from the pain meds, I am doing just fine. I've been trying to get in all my liquids, but it seems like I am ALWAYS drinking. My son was kind enough to set up a bed in the living room for me, so I don't have to be up and down the stairs this week (I think that might be a little difficult). All is well.

Congrats on a safe surgery! I know the feeling, seems everytime I turn around it is time to drink again. I feel more bloated now then I ever have. I am staying upstairs cos I don't think I can handle going down. Good thing I have a refrigerator in my bedroom.. The only thing that bothers me is when I cough..ouch! Welcome home! Doreen

Congrats on being home Mary. My surgery was 09/02/03, came home 09/03/04 and have been sipping and walking since. Actually, I feel like I could have went back to work today but what the heck I have a week off, should just take it!!! Great job and good luck!!! J.

Congratulations! Glad to hear you seem to be doing well. I think the water thing will become 2nd nature after a while. Hang in there. Marie

Hi Mary Alice - Congradulations - you did it. So glad you're doing good. I have also had the surgery. I had mine on 9/01/04 and came home on 9/03/04. I am doing good - still on liquids - no hunger - the only problem is with one of my incisions, but with help it will be ok. I just posted a message (my first time on) tonite - so you can read about it if you wish. You look very good in your photo. I'm so new - but I plan to post a photo later. Andria
