RNY 9/2/04, home 9/3/04

Hi everyone. Well my surgery was Thursday and I came home Friday. So far so good. Only have 5 little bandaids on my belly. Have been able to keep fluid in. I really had no pain other than do you know how if you throw up an entire day and how your belly feels the next day, well that is how it feels. Nothing major though. I am so excited to start this journey!!! J.

J, I'm really happy for you! Sounds like you are doing superb! I can't believe no pain??? Can you tell me what kind of pain tolerance you have? I'm a big WIMP and the pain is what I've feared the most. Thanks! Tracy J

WOW !!! I'm so glad everything went so well for you and that your HOME already !!! Thats great !!!!! I'm am having my Lap surgery on 9/21 and I hope I feel as good as you do !!!! But my surgon said I have to stay in the hospital from Tuesday till Friday because he does 5 diffrent leek tests and I guess they take time. Can't wait to join you on the loosing side !!! Laura
