9/15/04

Hi, I am scheduled for 9/15 at Vista Medical Center in Pasadena, TX with Dr. Jay. I am excited, but a bit nervous. It has been a long haul and uphill battle with insurance. The first Dr. to review my appeal was a Peditrician. It has been a long time since I have been in the age range to see or hear from one of them. Luckliy the 2nd appeal reached someone with some common sense. I'd love to hear from anyone...doesn't matter when you are scheduled or where you are located. It would be cool if someone was going to be in the same hospital. I've not told many people in my family because I didn't want any negative energy around me right now, so it is a bit lonley at times. Hi, Yes I'm having my lap gastro bypass in Alabama at Medical Center East. It is hard not to share something that is so important to you. I stopped listening to the negative because I can hear more positives any way. Have a safe crossing over. The very best to you dolores

Hello Michelle, I'm also scheduled to have surgery on 09/15, my surgery will be at St. Vincent in Carmel, Indiana. I'm so excited haven't really went through the fear feeling yet. I have also had lots of negative responses, but I know the thousands of positive ones. I'm addicted to this web site and the profiles. I just want to absorb as much information as possible to make my recovery easier. I want to learn from our peers, anyways good luck let me know how you are doing. Sheila
