My New Surgery Date is has Arrived

Hello everybody, I am ecstatic after having my first surgery date cancelled by my first surgeon, finding a new surgeon and going through all the testing that was required, that I finally have a new date!!!!!!! September 21, 2004 - that will be my new birthday. I could use any words of encouragement that I can get. I really want to be prepared for the surgery and hospital. I am also holding back all of the excitement that is in me since got excited and then had my surgery cancelled in July. (It's a long story, you can check out my profile for all the details) Blessings be upon all of those who will be on the losing side this month!

Wow, there are a lot of "losers" in NY! I am so proud of you for sticking with it. Surround yourself with positive people and keep your eyes on the goal. I am scheduled for the 15th and am at the point where I am getting those butterflies in my stomach. Good news is that there will be little room for butterflies in a week and a half! I wish you the happiest birthday and would love to hear how things go. You deserve extra kudos for sticking with it. Be strong, positive, and keep looking forward. There's nothing behind you that is going to help at this point, it's all about what's ahead. Get excited, you deserve it! Hugs! Michelle

I know that you must be so excited right now. I to just scheduled my surgery for Sept.23 and I cannot wait. I wish you the best and I hope to hear from you after your surgery.

Hi Beamer, Congratulations! September 21st is a wonderful day. It was my parents anniversary. I have always loved that day. My surgery is tomorrow. I am on clears right now and NPO after midnite. You get excited and nervous at the same time. May God Bless your wonderful day. Linda

HI Your date is the day before mine and I'm getting pretty nervous too. Like you I had to loose weight before I have the surgery, I need to loose 10 more pounds. Maybe you can do what I am doing, I am getting allthe things I need like the right liquids, vitiams , cleaning house , etc . Between that and work it don't have much time to dwell.
