OK.. That's it. I'm sick of food.
Yes. I said it. I'm sick of food.
Since we got our surgery date of 09/21 we have been eating out.. pasta, pancakes, and fried foods. I'm sick of it all. I have until 09/07 to eat whatever I want and other than a chick-fil-a and a good steak (no potato), I can't get my mouth watering for anything. I tired of making the choice of "What do we eat for dinner tonight?" I tired of choosing the lunch place to go because my co-workers want to take me out before I "can't eat like this again". Oh, and what is up with that? I get approved for WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY because I'm MORBIDLY OBESE and what do my co-worker friends want to do?? Take me out to LUNCH!
Anyone else like this...... or I'm I just ranting?
Right there with you babe,
My SO took me to Outback this weekend (haven't been for over a year), then a breakfast buffet on Sunday and Dairy Queen for my favorite treat... a banana split Sunday night... I have just about given up on food all together now.... My friends at work are secretly planning a big buffet for work one night... everyone is asking "whats your favorite" this or that.. gotta love it that they are trying to please me... not my waistline or my butt but my heart!!!
When I knew I only had a few days left before i started my pre-surgery diet I was trying to think of something that I really wanted that I was going to miss. I went to my favorite resteraunt and had my favorite meal only to find out they changed the chicken and it was so nasty. Then I was going to go to my favorite pizza place and I found out they changed the sauce and it wasn't any good so I was sitting there trying to figure out what to have. I decided on regular pizza from one of my less favorite but still delicious pizza places. I just got it with extra cheese and pepperoni and I was good to go. I ate so much I thought I would pop. I have to say one good thing for all the food not tasting the same. I won't ever miss it. Not to mention that the chicken and the pizza were my all time favorite things I thought I'd miss. I got very lucky with that.
