surgery date countdown >>>> 7 days to go......

08/31/04 well, I have been on my liquid diet for just 2 days now.. but I feel so weak and sleepy. I eat and then an hour later I am hungry again. Anyone else on a liquid diet before surgery ????

HI! I am on a liquid diet right now, I need to loose some weight before my Pre-Op visit on Sept. 9th . Yup, I'm hungry most of the time. I don't know if I have to have a liquid diet before surgery, but it makes sense. Hang in there !

I am too. It is hard. The first few days weren't fun for me. Actually on day 3 I was so tired and so sick I couldn't move. I actually felt so weak. I had a bad headache and everything. I made many trips to the bathroom too. I just held on and kept going. It did get easier for me. I am now on day 11. I hope it gets better for you. Shannon

I only have to do liquids for one day before surgery. Clear liquids only on Thursday, surgery on Friday. Wow... I can't believe how quickly it all came.

I started my liquid diet today. this time next week I will be on the losing side and I alot of pain! LOL My prayers are with you. Chris with a headache
