Hi! I just got my surger...

Hi! I just got my surgery date 9/28! Things went smooth with meeting the surgeon (8/2), sending in the insurance information (8/19) and getting approval (8/26). We had a cruise to San Juan and St. Thomas planned for this week 9/4 and are quite nervous over the Hurricane! I wish I could get the surgery done quicker but at least this will give me one last "HURRAH"!! Hope to meet others for support/friendship through this forum! Rae

Congratulations!!!! on the Surgery and the Trip...my Mom is a little north of Jacksonville, So I am right with you on the hurricane watch. Have loads of fun..Maybe next year at this time we all...September anniversaries...could go on a cruise together to celebrate our weight loss..woohoo!!! Oh well, a girl can dream huh?.. Marcia

Just hoping that everyone can get through this second bout of storms - seems like Florida is just getting hammered. Spoke to my best gal pal who is 15 months post surgery and wearing a size 5 from a 22 - she is the best! Just giving me a lot of encouragement and suggestions!!! Thanks for writing me! I guess we all need to hang together for this since it is such a life changing experience. Rae
