Anyone having surgery Sept. 13

I was just wondering if anyone else will be having their surgery on the same day. I will be at North Oakland Medical Center. My surgeon is Dr. MacPherson. I am excited, nervous, scared, anxious, and so forth all rolled into one. I know I will be in good hands, but can't help but think about all that could go wrong and am I making the right decision? Hi Cheryl! I am having surgery on Sept 14th way over here on the opposite coast! I am not feeling terribly nervous about the surgery itself, but I am second guessing myself, wondering if I have really tried as hard at everything else I could do. I hate that family friends are worried about me BUT I guess I know deep down that I have tried and that I can't continue with this weight problem or I will never live to see grandchildren. I am sure you didn't enter into this decision lightly and just know that all will be well. If we weren't somewhat nervous, we would probably be too dumb to sign the consents ourselves! Hi Cheryl, Yes I am having surgery The same day as you!!!! I am having it at San Joaquin Comm. Hospital in Bakersfield, CA. My surgeon is Dr. Irani. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. So far I am not nervous at all. I have soooo many friends that have had it and all are doing and looking great. I just keep focusing on how good i'll feel afterwards and know that i'll be adding many more years to my life by getting all this weight off. So keep up with the good thoughts and good luck to you!!!!

YES!! My surgery is scheduled for 1:30 on the 13th. I am in Virginia. I can hardly wait for it to get here. I know that there are alot of things to think about, but please think positive about your surgery. I learned a month ago surgery was scheduled for Sept 13th, then I found out I had to have all my tests done again for Dr. Elariny. I finish up the rest of the blood work and the stress test tomorrow then it'll all get submitted........then i'll find out for sure if it's going to happen. I want to thank all of you that send me a note! This is such a nice group! Amy where in Va are you going? which Dr? My surgery is scheduled for 10am, i'm his second one for the day. I can't get nervous, excited or scared sh@#less cause I don't know if it's going to happen. By the time I find out i'll probably be on the road to Va.
