Doctor's office called me give a new surgery date

I don't know if I should get my hopes to high, but I have new date which is September 09, 2004. The week before surgery the surgeon wants me to start a dosage of prednisone and antibotics. I'm pissed because I have had 4 surgery's in the past 2 years and each surgeon put me on the prednisone a week before surgery. I asked My Gastric surgeon to do that He said it won't be necessary, well guess what it is necessary. If he only had listened to me from the beginning, I would have had my surgery on 8/25.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you that this date is your last date and you will get the surgery on it. I pray that everything goes well for you. Keep the faith! Doreen

WE know what our bodies can handle and not handle. I don't know why doctors don't listen to us. I am sorry that your surgery got pushed back but it will be here before you know it and keeping you in my prayers. Erin
