guess what,, I have Humana HMO,, they are so wonderful,, it only took them one hour to approve my surgery!!! I couldn't believe it, for being an HMO I am so surprised!! Got approval on 08/24/04 and surgery is scheduled for 09/07/04 yes that right ,,in just a few short days......

Wow, that was fast. WTG to your HMO!!!!! I hope you had an idea that it would be that soon. If not you must be running around like a nut trying to get things done. I wish you the best of luck. Shannon

You are so lucky. I got approved over a year ago but the ONLY surgeon my health group refers to is booked for over a year. After I complained alot and filing a Grievance with Pacificare I got someone elses cancellation date of 9/7 for which I am very thankful!.. We will be having surgery on the same date. Congrats!
