Surgery date Sept. 1, 2004

I am a week away from surgery and I am scared to death. Don't get me wrong, I'm also very excited. My stomach is so upset this morning. I feel like something is just churning in there. Hope tomorrow will be a better day. I'm having a hard time drinking my coffee. I'm so greatful for these message boards, and the wonderful people that reply. Thank You All So Much. Gloria Y. Can you believe how time has just flown by waiting for our date to get here? Just think, less than a week and we will be on the losing side. I wasn't nervous before but now I think I am. Good luck on your surgery. Doreen

WOOO-HOOOO!!! Come on September 1! I had my surgeon pre-op yesterday and all went fan-tab-u-lous! I don't think I'm nervous about WLS itself, just have a ton of stuff to do in between now and then both at home and at work. Yep.... just think... this time next week......

Well, this time next week we'll be losers!! I'm a bit nervous, to be honest.......but then there is MY HUSBAND...............He had a total meltdown tonight and decided that I could not have the surgery!!! SURELY YOU JEST! No way I have worked this hard for something this important to just back away a few days before it all happens. Good grief. And then he says he has a meeting Sat and will be unable to give me a ride home from the hospital.......... Big deal......I can get another ride.

Well, Louisa my ride to the hospital backed out on me today. She doesn't want me to do it. I was like........NO WAY. I have worked hard to get to September 1st. I don't know I am going to do but I will find a way!

BUMMER, Nino.........that is really the pits. At least I have a ride TOO the hospital...shall we swing by Texas and pick you up?? Then you can drop me off in SC on the way home..deal??

LOL........we have to keep a sense of humor! I am not letting anyone still my joy!
