Introducing Lisa G

Hi everyone, My name is Lisa. I am from SC. I am new at this and wanted to introduce myself and try to meet other Sept patients. I got my surgery date today. It is 9/14/04. I am excited, nervous, scared and anxious all at the same time. Doe anyone else feel like that? Thanks, Lisa

Hi Shannon, I was hoping someone would read it so I had to spice the intro up a bit. I am new am not familiar with all the abbreviations. What does WTG mean. I feel silly having to ask. Is there a list of abbreivations anywhere? I know lol and rofl but that's about it. I don't believe I have ever met anyone from RI. Nice to "meet" you. Thanks, Lisa

Hi Lisa (and everyone else!) I'm from the So. California area and just got my surgery date yesterday (Sept. 23rd!) Like you, I am a nervous wreck!!! No matter how much research I do, it still seems to be a gamble...re: complications, etc. However, this website is an AWESOME resource and I want to thank everyone who has shared in the past, it truly helps.
