How to prepare for the Hospital
I am taking a comfy pair of PJ's. I am going to bring a hair brush. The ones from the hospital aren't all that strong. I use the shampoo and conditioner they provide because if I am lucky enough to wash my hair I am happy. I will bring a few other toiletries(sp) from home.
I am also going to have my mom bring me up a book after I am settled so I can have something to read while no one is bothering me or visiting me. I might bring some cross words puzzles or something but I have no idea how I will feel afterwards. I might not ever get around to use them but it is nice to have it in just in case.

I am taking as very little as possible. I am taking my CDMan with some relaxing CD's so I can relax. I can never sleep in the hospital. Its so noisy. I am bringing my own hairbrush. I am bringing some pads because they say you will get your period after surgery no matter when you last had it. I will wear the clothes that I went into the hospital with home. A couple pairs of undies. Maybe a book or a word search. Money for TV service. Calling card to use the phone.
I am using the hospital gown as pj's and bathrobe and the slipper socks that they give you. The hospital will usually provide toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo and mouthwash. The hospital stay shouldn't be longer than 4 days so I don't want to have to lug home a ton of stuff.
If there is anything that I forgot my hubby or family member will bring it to me. From listening to others experiences you don't need alot.

Here's my list:
