Also 9/7/04
I'm and ...and non-stop eating ... ...and non-stop
And I need to get myself under control and preparing for this surgery that I have been waiting for for 15 months.
I've got to get my emotions under control and get myself organized I'm starting lots of things and finishing none.
I'm for those of you who have cleaned, shopped & packed;
but to know I'm not the only one who is totally when it comes to the specifics.
I'm looking for an angel also!
15 days ladies & gents
God Bless you with love and rainbows,

Love your use of emmoticons. I am so not close to being ready. I still have letters to finish up, packing for the hospital. I only managed to by my post-op calcium. I still need to buy the multi-vitamin. I have to make a list of things for my hubby not to forget when I am in the hospital. I am trying not to do everything all at once because I still have 10ish days left to go and I don't want to run out of things to do.
I wish you a lot of luck....
Shannon
Hi Shannon,
9/7/04 Our new life begins! I love using the emoticons! They are so cute!
What a concept: not doing everything at once for not wanting to run out of things to do. You must be organized! I have a 3 page list ...of things to do ... Including reading/re-reading all the information of what to expect, what to do immediately pre-op & post-op AND losing some of the weight I've gained having ALL my Last Suppers.
Today I begin my last strict 'diet' ..(vs. eating healthy) to lose those extra lbs. I've made some progress in getting organized, but need to attack the list again.
Thanks for your support. Keep up your one day at a time preparations. I can't believe how close we are. Hallejuah

Hi Mery, ........Breathe! ... ... Remember is normal. Saying the Serenity Prayer helps me.
I received a from Eric, the site owner. It looks very helpful. If you haven't received it, email him or post requesting it with a urgent on your post.
Good luck, Our re-new lives begin 9/7/04 and all I've talked to say it's the best decision they've ever made.
Hang in there!
God Bless you with love and rainbows, Lisa RP
I'm also a 9/7, and I'm nervous, too. Been having anxiety attacks periodically. I was really glad to get back to school Monday (I'm a student), just to have something else to occupy my mind.
I admire the people that are able to follow a healthy diet right now; all I can think of is getting in the foods that I won't be able to have after the surgery.
I have been doing something each day to get ready - mostly shopping, which is my other coping mechanism. I just had foot surgery a few weeks ago, and am still having pain in one foot, so I can't get around as well as I'd like. I get to go to the hospital in these funky shoes; thought I was getting rid of them Friday before surgery, but my doctor is keeping me in them another 3 weeks. I can just imagine what it'll be like trying to walk in them all drugged up after surgery.
Can't wait for the time to pass by.
