Surgery date September 7
This is my first day of posting. I thought it might help me to know that others are awaiting surgery this month too, and it has. I'm excited, nervous, scared all rolled up into one. God, I hope this next two weeks go by quickly. I see from the other posts that I'm not the only one with the nesting instinct, trying to get everything ready for recovery. I'm thinking this would be a good time to buy a new recliner! School starts tomorrow (I'm a grad student at Chico State) - I'm not sure I'll be able to finish the semester, but I feel like I need something to do to keep my mind busy until surgery. Anybody out there that can give me an estimate on when I'll feel good enough to go back to classes?
My surgery is on the 3rd. We have monthly meetings at the hospital where I am going to have my surgery. When I was talking to the people there about surgery etc I was told by a few that if you have Lap. that I would feel good enough to go to next months meeting. So the meeting will be on September 16th and they say I will be well enough to go then. That is like 2 weeks I think. I am not sure if your having la*****t but I know ther recovery time for it is faster then open. If your having the ban I think that is even faster.
I hope that helps a little. Try not to stress to much. The time will come and the night before you will be sitting there thinking where the heck did the time go??? I know I will be when it is me.
