I'm Glad I Have A Reason To Post Here

Howdy, fellow September losers-to-be!! I just got my date confirmed today, but they told me it would probably be the 8th yesterday!! I'm excited on the one hand, but terrified at the same time. Bet I'm not alone in those emotions!! Jan

I totally know how you feel. I am so excited and find that this is all I really talk about. The butterflies have really started to, but I don't tell many people this. I don't want to hear comments like "well did you know my friend, had a friend who didn't lose a pound. or My cousins brothers best friend died......blah blah blah". I'm a nurse and very aware of the comlications. Anyways congrats on the date, keep us posted. Sheila

Thanks for making me feel welcome here! I've never had surgery either and I told my boss today that this past year has been such a challenge because my health has really taken a turn and I'm not used to it. I've never been sick and this year I discovered I'm diabetic with HTN and gall stones! Here's to an easy surgery and quick recovery!! Jan
