Got A Date

Date: Sun Aug 15, 2004 1:58 pm Subject: Got A Date Well here it is Sunday afternoon, and I am just getting here to finally post my *MOST* awesome, *MOST* incredible, *MOST* life changing NEWS !!!! Yeeeesssss......I have a surgery date !!! The most wonderful blessing God could have blessed me with... Prayers anwsered, and a tool to *HELP* me *HELP* myself !!! Ahhh, to ride a bicycle... to not be afraid to step upon the rubbermaid stool, when hubby is at work, for fear I might break the stool & tumble to to floor....serious concerns I have feared for so long...finally now a place in my life where peace is starting to decend. Taint an easy job, having been my little feet, having carried this weight for all these years. But I will not build regrets, *ONLY* happy memories. God has blessed me with wonderful friends, the *BEST* momma, a husband who knows the *TRUE* meaning of agape love, and shows it each & everyday, and now a God gifted talented surgeon & medical team who i will have the pleasure of knowing for the rest of my life !! God is GREAT !!! MY SURGERY DATE IS SEPTEMBER 24TH 2004....THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT !!!

Traciee: Congrats on your date. My date is 09/02/04. You can contact me when I am done and I can give you all the details. I am having lap WLS surgery. I was scared to death but now, a sense of peace has come over me and I know I will be okay. I have had plenty of surgeries in the past to make me better or have my beautiful children but this surgery will help me to survive to see them grow into adults; that makes it all worth it. Plus, being skinny is a bonus - getting "rid" of diabetes is a miracle. Good luck!!! J.

Congrats!!!!! I am new to this......but I just got my date it is also Sept. 24th!!!! We will have to keep in touch with each other. Take care, Tammy
