Got my date - Sept 28th.

Hello, just got my 2nd date - long story, but I was there for the first one, so it wasen't my fault. I have since switched doctors, and will be having my surgery with Dr Curry on September 28th! Greetings to all the other fellow September Surgery Members! (I still wish I had my surger in July)

Cograts. It must of been something bad for you to switch Dr's. I don't need to know. I just wanted to say hi and Good Luck.

Oh Darrell from the sounds of it your first experience wasn't a very good one and for that I am so sorry. I wish you had your July surgery too. But you stayed positive, found another doctor (which is hard to do) and are now joining us on the September board. Finding the other doctor wasen't the problem. There are 5 in the area that are good doctors. I had seen 3 of them before I made my choice, and chose one that was the most knowledgeable, but there turned out to be a problem with him the day of my surgery, so I reverted back to the 1st doctor I saw. Dr Curry is one of the friendliest people I have met, great staff. My wife and 2 other family members are having him do the surgery. I should have stayed with him first, but I was concerned that he didnt have the experience with 'larger' people (im 6'7" and 600lbs). It turns out that he will have another surgeon with him to help out. That puts me at ease, and I think I should have just stayed with him in the first place. We also have good insurance, so approvals werent hard, or switching doctors.

CONGRATS ON YOUR SURGERY DATE !!!!!! Sorry that something went wrong and you did not have your surgery in July. But Sept. will be here before you know it and then we will all be on the looser side !!! Good luck Laura
