Hello Fellow Sept. WLS Friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Friends. I am excited!! I am anxious!!! I am ready to get it over with Only 30 days 16hrs. Sept. 9th I have a date that will be life changing! I know you guys do also. I will be praying for all of you as I hope you will me also. ANybody else having surgery on the 9th at MOBILE INFIRMARY? I hope to find an angel between now and then. If some DUDE wants to be a "bud" wls consultant that would be cool too! We want have to call you an angel. Take Care MY FELLOW FRIENDS! Ro 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? Oh this is so great, a real live Preacher in the September group! I'll pray for you and your family, you can pray for mine I'm a Sept. 7th. I'm glad to see other Christians going through the same process. Well, not glad you have to go through it but it's a comfort, if that makes sense. My parents were not thrilled when I told them I wanted this surgery. I have two children myself and they thought it was awful that I would take this risk. They're in the group that thinks WLS is motivated by people's vanity and dr's deep pockets. When will people understand it's not about the look it's about the health! Congrats on your date!

Hi Marcus! I have a firm belief in the power of prayer. Hey, you got it bud but it is going to cost you a prayer in return..... The countdown is 22 days for all of the September 1sters.......WOW!! I can hardly believe it. I am having my surgery on September 2nd and what an incredible feeling it is. I can't wait to be reborn. I remember having like 2 1/2 months to wait for surgery and now in just 3 weeks that day will be here.....YAHOOEY!!!!!!!! I understand how you feel. Anxious, nervous, excited, scared, Cloud 9.....We are just being normal...LOL. Erin

Congrats on your date! I say a prayer every nite for those that are going thru the surgery and those that are hoping to get it done. I have put myself in the hands of our Heavenly Father and find I am not as nervous(yet). Maybe you can inspire us with some prayer on here before our dates. Doreen

HEY i am glad for your date and a firm christan it is all in the lords hand and we will all be ok and we will make it through the tought time and we now willl be loser on the bench waiting for other to join i have a dat also 8/8/04 also looking for a angel or a buddy i'm in germany and good luck you will be in prayers and i hope you will do the same take care

Sorri I can't be your angel. I live to far away. But I will be lneding some extra prayers for everyone. I konw what you all mean about couting the days and things looking closer. I remember last year when I first started my journey and i was thinking about how it would take forever. Now there is a little over 3 weeks left and then I get to be reborn. Amazing, isn't it? Hi Marcus, I am having this surgery because I know the Lord has big plans for me and so unhealthy, I am unable to carry them out. I will keep you and all having this surgery in my prayers! May God Bless You! Kathy
