Another Newbee!! Date of Sept. 7

Hi Everyone, I have been reading the posts for several months. I think that it is time I joined in. I am getting so nervous and excited about this surgery. It seems that I have waited forever, but actually it has been 5 months. Time is just starting to go quicker.

Hi Joyce Congrat's on getting your surgery date so soon i have mine for 9/20/04 it also took me about 5 months. I hope all goes well for you and welcome to OH. Sherry B.

Congrats Joyce! I am so excited for all of us. Did it take five months for approval and scheduling? I should count my blessings. I started the approval process late January and was approved the first week of March. I was scheduled April 7, then I chickened out, rescheduled for April 13 and then my employer said I couldn't take the time off and expect to have a job to come back to. I was told to wait until after my coworker comes back from her maternity leave at the end of August. I wasted no time, on August 2 I was on the phone with the doctor and scheduled for September 7th. Nobody is talking me out of it this time!

Happy Surgery Date!!! It will be here soon but you will be busy getting ready for it. Time will fly even more. I am so excited for everyone who has their date! Good luck and best wishes. Doreen

Hi Joyce!! Welcome and Congratulations on your date. I know how you feel about being nervous and excited all mixed together....Just think only 23 more days until our friends having surgery on September 1st start their new life. WOO HOO!! Congrats again. Glad to meet you. Erin
