Has anyone been moved to september from an earlier date...

And if so how are you feeling about that?I was moved from 8/4/04 to 7/28/04 then 8/14/04 and finally 9/1/04.Kinda feel like a yo-yo how about anyone else. Erica

Man Erica, I have heard of yoyo dieting and weight gain/loss, but you are the first yoyo surgery candidate that I have come in contact with!! How demoralizing that must be! I have a Sept. 1 date too, and hope it will not change...........and hope that you have found a permanent date! Welcome to the Sept. people.....looks like we are going to be twins!! Wesie in SC

Erica, Hi! I'm Erin and I am having my surgery on September 2nd. It may change for me but it is because I need to have it changed. If i am to be paid on FMLA I have to have worked so many hours and so on and so on....so, I think I may be pushing it but I may still (keeping my fingers crossed) stay at Sept. 2, 2004 but why are they yo-yo'g you like that??? Did they say why? Like Wesie said, I heard of yo-yo dieting but yo-yo pre-op surgery candidate???? I hope you don't mind me asking. I ask only because I would ask them, why so many changes? This is an emotional and difficult time and they are just playing dates like we change our underwear.... Just wondering what they said. Erin

whelp the answer i was given as to why is beacuse the doc had a vacation(3weeks) they did not take into account so lots of people were moved up its funny cause i was so worried about having it done this year and when she told me the end of the month i could not have hope for more...Now its just another wait and more emotions and your right.
