Patricia, congratulations on your great weight loss! It's such a weird thing to think about reaching or surpassing my own goal, but the closer and closer you get, the more real that becomes.
And, Carol, I totally hear you on discovering new bones and joints. I am having odd pains when I sleep from where my ribs or hip joint protrude. They used to be so insulated by layers of fat and now that they aren't, I really notice them!

Great job Linda!
Keep up the good work and keep us posted. You are doing wonderful and yes I know how you feel about being able to buy something normal and having all that energy. Feels like a new person has took your body over! My biggest thing is not being able to handle the compliments now. I have never had them or rather not since high school and now, when someone compliments me, I dont know how to react! So weird!

I know you are sore and wore out from that hectic schedule but I applaud you
for taking the initiative to get out and excercise. Good job hon and keep up the good work. Just dont over do it! Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing with it! If we can offer any encouragement, holler at us, were all in this together!

Patti, I so very well know the feeling of being close to that edge. Before my weight loss and my hystorectomy, I was so close I begged to die daily. SO in a way I do understand but I can not imagine leaving my children like she has. It leaves me grieving as well as angry with her.
I know the feeling of not wanting to go outside because of the cold too well. Since wls my skin hurts if it gets cold. I freeze constantly!
I will try the broth and wheat crackers and thank you for being mom
. Last night supper didnt stay down either. My hubby is beyond frustrated and worried with me. He is demanding that I call my surgeon. I am praying it gets better soon. I pray its just nerves. He is thinking im developing a eating disorder. I dont know. I know that I simply am not hungry and eating leaves me sick feeling.

I am 4 months out and down 80 pounds...20 to go to goal. I vomit everything. It doesnt matter the speed, the amount, the type. I vomit everything solid. My doctor says I do not have a stricture. He says I just have an extra sensitive stomach. I am hoping it will go away eventually. Just remember to drink lots and dont let yourself get dehydrated. My doctor suggests gatorade because it has potassium in it. Ive been in the hospital a few time for dehydration and low potassium.

Thank you all very much. And it sounds like you all are doing fine. Well as you know I started the gym. Oh My God, Am I sore. Since monday I've been going to work at 5:00am. And then I get off of work at 1:30pm. Then I go to the gym and workout on 11 weight machines. and walk around the track 11 times which is 1 mile. Monday's, Wed., and Sat. I add in water aerobic's. So I get real tired and go to bed around 8:00-8:30.

Carol, I am truly sorry about your sis-in-law,
I 've came close to that edge a few times myself, WLS really helped in that area. Yes, it's been really cold here in Missouri too, I just can't make myself go outside when it's 7 degrees. Have you tried sipping on warm broth and wheat crackers, help calm the tummy and still get some nutrients? just being a mom I guess. It would be great to chat with you. First off let me congratulate you on your 50 lbs gone!
and I know this may sound
but are you getting enough water in? I know that has made a huge difference in my weight loss as well as my head hunger. I think the head hunger is what you are experiencing. What you stocked your work fridge with is good choices. You can do so much with simple protien stuff. Like pepperoni wrapped with cheese inside a slice of deli turkey with a little jalepeno' mustard on it. Throw in some dill chips or cuke slices and its a great meal! Or if you want a sandwich, throw the bread out and wrap a lean peice of chicken, deli turkey or even lean beef pattie inside lettuce with a thin slice of tomatoe and cheese! My suggestion would be to kick the bread to the curb, as well as anything with pasta, taters or any of those bad carbs that are not our friend. Some people watch their carbs religiously and some dont. That is entirely up to you! I watch mine like a hawk. I dont know if this is right or not but it works for me. I eat alot of deli turkey, chicken, lean beef, pepperoni, cheese, eggs and lots of jerky that is homeade from deer. I carry a bag of jerky and string cheese every where I go for quick snacks or if I get to a resteraunt and they dont have what I can eat or it simply doesnt suit me, I break out my baggie. I also eat turkey bacon cooked really crisp in the microwave. I carry a baggie of it also sometimes. Egg salad is my favorite. I can mix it with a lil mayo, dill relish and smear it on a pork skin instead of cracker! For a quick snack, pork skins in a lil hot sauce or picante sauce is good. Tuna salad, chicken salad, egg salad, all good work things you can mix at home and toss in a container and take to work. Add a couple cuke slices and cheese slices on the side and you have a quick easy simple meal at work.I battle the head hunger demon more now than I used to. not so much wanting a whole anything but simply wanting something bad for me! I know I cant have it and I will get a protien bar or shake. Normally that will eliviate any head hunger. After one of those things, you can stomach anything else!

and yes its rough on the tail bone, I had forgotten I even had a tailbone! As a matter of fact I am finding bones and parts I didnt remember having! I know how it is to get off your excercise routine, its been so cold here and my lifes been turned upside down from a tragic death in our family and I am paying for it now with being sick and throwing up. Cant seem to get anything to stay down and my hubby is so worried about it. I have developed a serious kidney infection and dehydration. I have had to really make myself step my water intake up here the last couple days. I am getting a little better but its hard. I know how that treadmill became a coat rack, mine at the moment is a quilt rack! I just havent felt like walking or doing my weights since the 17th (my sis in law committed suicide). Anyways, I know I need to get back on track with my eating and my working out. I simply dont eat anything cause I know its going to come back up. I am hoping this will all work out soon. I know its nerves but I am only human!
