Hi All! I haven't posted in quite a while. I have been doing great. I am in college to become a RN. Life is great I have lost a total of 165 pounds. I have gone from a tight 4-5X to a comfortable 26-28. I am happy with my weight loss sometimes I feel like I could have lost alot more in the past year than I have. I should have exercised more.... I am very happy with my results but feel they could be better. I guess everyone has those feelings at some point or another. I just need to think to myself I started at 510# and now I am 345i****hink it is depressing because I read so many posts on here where people are smaller than me when they start out, maybe that is what discourages me. I shouldn't be discouraged at all I know!! Anyway happy anniversary to everyone here and goodluck in the future !!!! Cindy 510-345-????

So today is the day.... Last night I sat down and looked at some old pictures and could not believe that was the same person. I have so much more energy and confidence. You don't realize how much you really don't have something until you get it. I have always been confident but add flirty to it and you have a whole new you.... I'm still not exactly where I want to be but I am working my way there and when I get there, it will add further to the happiness and healthiness that I have already gotten. I'm smaller than I was in high school!! Happy Rebirthday to Me and here's to more pounds gone!! Thanks for listening! Jen

Happy Anniversary to me!!! Yesterday was the 1-year anniversary of my surgery and I can honesty say I would do it all again in a nano-second. I can walk better, I can drive again, I could wear my wedding rings again for awhile and now they are TOO BIG and my wonderful hubby bought me a different diamond ring to wear until I'm done losing so I can have my wedding rings re-sized so I don't have to do it twice, I have gone from 8 and 10x clothes to 1 and 2x, I'm off all of my meds except for my muscle relaxants and vitamins and instead of being the biggest in my family of 4 kids, I am the next to the smallest!!! Do it again? You betcha!!! Oh, and by the way, hehe...I LOST 4 more pounds this week!!! For a total of 213# in 1 year!!! Whoooooo Hooooooo!!! I have an appointment with a plastic surgeon in Little Rock the 30th, please pray that he gives me the green light and that he will start doing my plastics now and get these darned hernias fixed and doesn't tell me I have to lose more weight before he does it. I'll let you know what he says. Everyone have a wonderful weekend!!! Hugs... CONNIE SW: 475# CW: 262# LOSS: 213# 118 1/4" Surgery: Open RNY 9/11/03

I'd just like to take the time to thank Dr. Chung for all that has transpired positively for me in the last year. I can't thank him enouogh for probablt saving my life because the path I was taking was gloomy to say the least. I now have all the energy I need, and I am able to perform my job in a much more efficient manner which requires a lot of walking up and down stairs. Of course, the new look still puzzles those whom I haven't seen in a year or more until I tell how I am. That pleases me very much to say the least. I sleep all night and awake rested. I don't have acid reflux nor sleep apnea along with joint pain anymore and the list could go on. I have taken two or three Tylenol caps in the past year versus a handful daily prior to surgery. In fact, the only pills I take now are vitamins and protein. Thanks again Dr. Chung. I would do it again tomorrow.
