Jesse, Haven't been on the board much in the past week, so this was muct first opportunity to read your post. Your posts are always so positive and give hope to to so many others that they can achieve the same success. I love you statement "one year down and a lifetime to go"! It says it all. This past year has been a hell of a ride -learning new eating habits, watching our bodies shrink before our eyes (some of us smaller than we ever were!), getting off medications, sleeping through the night and enabling our loved ones to finally get a restful night's sleep. And who can complain about "snuggling" and whatever else might be happening - it's all good. Congratulations on your success and here's to the rest of your life. Patti

Robyn, Congratulations on your success over the past year. Your numbers are great but what was more important to me was how you expressed your joy in your ability to things that a year ago would have been virtually impossible. That is the real way to measure our sucess - certainly we all want to look better but what an exhilirating feeling not to be limited by our size anymore. How wonderful for you to see your family and not have to worry about being ashamed of how you look. Our families love us for who we are, but even though we know that in our hearts, our heads tell us that we are unlovable because of how we look, because we don't love ourselves. You're right the battle isn't easy, but for the first time I'm confident that we will win. Wishing you continued success, Patti
