Wow. Pregnant! That wasn't planned was it? LOL. Just curious, since you've lost 25 lbs, how is the size of your baby so far? Everything okay? You sound like you've done great. My surgeon strongly advises against pregnancy in the first year. But, I am a year out now, 40 years old, and trying to decide if I am going to have another child or leave it good at 3. My youngest is 6 years old now. I have wondered what the food intake would be like during pregnancy - because you do have to eat more. Also, like you, I would worry about eating so little and losing weight during pregnancy. . Good luck - I'm sure your doctor is watching you and your baby closely and you're both healthy. It is harder to lose the weight after your first year. But, I don't know about pregnancy and what it's like after. You tell us when you go through it .

Hi Everyone: Here is my weekly story from the WLS front. I got on the elevator at my office yesterday and the person on the elevator with me noticed that I have lost quite a bit of weight. It's a fairly big building with about 1,500 people so I guess people have noticed my shrinking waistline over the past year. She commented that I looked great and wanted to know what diet I was on to lose all this weight. I told her that I'm not on a diet. She said, "come on, you have to be on a diet to lose all that weight." Once again, I said that I'm not on a diet that I had WLS. She was amazed when she asked how much weight have I lost and I told her 183 pounds in a little over a year. I can eat almost anything but I now make good food chioces and eat like a normal human being. I know that some of us would have given in and said that they were on a diet but I am proud to tell anyone who ask me about my weight loss that it was not a diet. I made the decision to make a permanent change of life through WLS and am proud to shout that I'm not on a diet, just eating a proper diet. Till next time, Jesse 373/190/-183

Hi Vicky, Congratulations on your weight loss - those last few pounds do seem tough don't they. I still need to lose another 5-10 and they don't seem to want to go! I like you would be a happy camper if I stay right where I am but the doc says for my height I should take those extra few off - so I'm trying! Hi my name is Betty and me too mine was on the 29th ....omg what a yr I have gone down from a 4-5x to a 14/16 in my clothes .And dammmm you should have seen me in a wet suit a few weeks ago on vacation .....I would have never dreamed me!!!! in a wet suite and I looked good ...My hubby just stood there on the beach watching me play in the water with the kids ....I don`t remember being a size 16 maybe when I was about 12 ...
