ALL i think about everyday is the surgery and ho it will be my last fat summer, I acnt seem to think of anything else, i'm going insane!

Hey Mary Ann, my date is Sept. 10 too. I start my testing next week, 7/9 with a cardiac clearance. I'm so excited. By the time I have my surgery it'll be a year's wait.

I two have a september date Sept 29th, I know I keep the count down going, it seems like it will never come. But what we have to remember is the fact that we will only have to put up with one more summer this way not year we will be able to do a lot more and feel so much better.

Congrats!!! I have a 9/8/03 date too!! And it does seem like forever away. But when I think that Christmas is only 6 mos away Sept all of the sudden doesn't see so far!! Good luck and I will keep you in my thoughts

Hi there! I also have a date of 9/8/03!! But I'm sorry to say I don't think we will be walking together since I live in Maryland, unless we can somehow do something about the 3,000 miles that separate us and a 3 hour time difference

Congrats Deb!!! I can certainly relate. My date is set for 9/8/03 and it seems like an eternity. Hang in there, it will be here before we know it!! Good luck
Topic: SEPT 8TH!!!!! WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!
I'm a little disappointed originally had a date of 7/15 but was denied by insurance because I am a smoker (well, was a smoker) date has been changed to 9/8!!!! It is extremely hard to stop smoking & eating at the same time since I am trying to follow my docs diet plan but I know my doc will not do the surgery if there is any hint of nicotene in my system so since I received the denial I have not smoked AT ALL!!!! This surgery is way more important to me than a nasty ole cigarette!!!

My date has been set for September 12th. The days are just dragging by. Any words of encouragement to make the time go a little faster. I can't seem to quit dwelling.
