I am Alan from Riverside, CA. My Sept. date is the 9th. I was set for the end of June, but problems arose. All OKAY now. Won't it be nice to see less of each other?

I was scheduled for WLS on the last week of June. Final heart stress test indicated I have a partial blockage of one of my heart arteries. First cardiologist I went to said I needed and angiogram and maybe and angioplasty. I weigh 422, so I needed a special table. What a fuss! For one month we searched around and tried to find a surgeon who would take my insurance who worked at a facility with a large table. Then, when we found one, I went for the consult. He said I did not need an angiogram. Said the blockage was minimal, and that there is a .5% fatality rate with it. The angiogram, which is extremely dangerous in a big man like me, has a 3% fatality rate. He said that the blockage was only borderline and has approved me for WLS. So, I contacted Cedars Sinai (LA) and I'm back on the schedule for Sept. 9. I am so tired of being probed and poked, measured and checked. But, it won't be long now.

Insurance haven't approve it yet but I have a Date....SEP 2nd. I'm soooooooooo excited!!

Hi, September 26th. I can't believe that you said you have your skinny jeans from 1978 -- I have mine from earlier than that and I hung them up right over my mirror so I can see them every day! Good luck!

I hope everything goes smoothly for you!! My date is the 24th of sept and I'm nervous already! They must be pretty sure your insurance woll cover you or they wouldn't give you a date--would they?
