I can't believe it! I was finally approved and have my date Sept. 10th! That after a couple of years of trying. Best wishes to all of us who will have our WLS.

Hello all you potenial "losers" ! I can't wait to become one my self. The date I have is September 9th. It can't get here any sooner! I am already trying the different foods that I will have to have in the coming months. My sister-in-law had this surgery January 27, 2002 & she looks & most importanly feels fantastic. It was a little rough in the begining for her, but it didn't take her long until she started reaping the benefits of this surgery. Good luck to all & keep in touch.

Hi Everyone!!!
I just learned that my surgery will be the 17th of September and I am all nervous, anxious, scared, excited, and overjoyed.... I don't think I have ever had all these emotions at once before. Just wanted to join others who are expecting surgery in September and see how everyone is feeling out there

Well, we share something in common. I am scheduled for surgery the same day. I am feeling all emotional too, and I am normally not like this, so I can relate to how you are feeling, but i n the end I know that everything will work out. I just keep telling myself that I didn't come this far to turn back now, by the end of the year I will be on the lighter side of things.

Hi Lisa. I have been looking around on the website a lot the past couple of days and would very much like to have an angel and find out more information about them so hopefully I can be someone's angel also. My surgery is scheduled for 09/10/03 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. Any and all help will be appreciated. I see that your surery is scheduled soon.
