I also am in need of an Angel. My date is very close, actually a week from today. I have literally made myself sick being so scared but, I want to thank everyone for their wonderful uplifting emails.

Hi, my name is Jeani Castelli. I had my surgrey on 4/14/03, and I have successfully lost 110lbs. Would I do it again you ask...IN A MINUTE!!!!!!! It is the best thing that I have ever done for myself,and I would have done it 20 years ago, had it been available, and as widely known about as it is now. Not sure I'm an angel, but I'm just starting all the fun testing and shrink visits and surgeon stuff to get started on my way to the "losing side" Did you get a date yet? I wish you a speedy recovery and only good things! You said we, are you doing "buddy" surgery with someone? Jen

Good luck Sherry, may your surgery be smooth and your recovery swift. I hope you find an angel close to your area so someone can hold your hand during this process, but if not just email me and we can chat about how great it'll be to be on the "losing side". I'm just in the beginning of the process, luckily my hubby and family/kids are supportive, but you always still need support from those who know what you are going through. Bless you. Jen

I'll be an angel for you, luckily I have lots of positive support from my hubby and family, but others aren't so supportive, they view it as a quick fix for the lazy fat girl....if they only knew.
Keep in touch when you are in the "losing" side and you can be my angel as I'm just at the beginning of the process, meet with the surgeon next week.
