Congrats and good luck! I know exactly how you feel. I must be driving the people that know crazy, because I can't think of much else. I have never wanted anything this bad (nor waited as long).....and now it's just 2 1/2 weeks ago and still have been hoping for a cancellation so I can get moved up (is that mean?? to hope someone else get's cancelled so I can be fortunate). Good luck and speedy recovery!

My surgery is coming up on 9/15/03. I haven't been able to sleep - I'm excited and want to get going on this. I pray that everyone's upcoming surgeries go well.

Do not worry about this surgery--if you asked the Lord, in Jesus' name, it WILL be fine. Your doctor, I'm sure, is an experienced surgeon and will perform the surgery with his utmost expertise. You are in God's hands, He led you to this point (you KNOW that) and He will guide you the rest of the journey. God Bless. You are in my prayers. I will be having LAP RNY one month after yours (10-16) and I hope to hear on this board that you are doing great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratz! Yes, you have to look at this day as your new birthday. I, too, have a new birthday and it is September 16th. Just think, you will be celebrating on this notable day. Good Luck!
