I use ProV60 Vanilla Ice Cream and Pure Whey Stack Banana Scream and I mix them to make a banana shake!! wooohooo it is so good!! I had a really hard time finding some that I liked. These I do. Pure Whey stack is by Champion Nutrition and you can get samples of it from www.vitalady.com
Protein is very important...it helps you heal and keeps your heart in good shape!!

Topic: Protein Powder Blues???
Hello, I attended my nutrition class last night and tried the various supplements and powder. Maybe it was just me but....................blah...................any helpful hints from others as to using the Protein Powder??

I have a date of September 17th. Everything has happened so fast i am still reeling. Good luck and best wishes to all that have surgery coming up and wishes for quick recoveries for those who are now post op. This site has been wonderful for support and info.

Hi Shelly - My date is on 08.24.03, now it seems as there is so much to do before the big day, I can't seem to get my house clean enough! I just wanted to wish you a speedy recovery, I'll be right there with you, good luck and I will keep you in my prayers. I don't seem to be nervous yet, I just have a really good feeling. Like my life is going to begin on that date! Well, as before, I will keep you in my prayers. Judy

Hi guys, I have never posted a message before, but always read the boards. Just wanted to share that I will be having Lap RNY on Sept. 24th, at St. Lukes. I see that I'm not the only on out there without an angel, but I have plenty of family support if I don't get one. I'm sure there are others out there that would need an angel more than me that don't have family near by. This web site has been a real blessing, there is so much useful info to find. Well, I hope everyone has a good night. Good luck to everyone having a surgery soon and I will keep you in my prayers, see you on the "other side".

They changed my date because they have to out a filter in to stop any blood clot from forming. I was dis apointed but am happy that they are being safe about it.I had an emblism in my right lung in 2000, and they want to be sure that 1 dosen't form in surgery. Only afew more days to wait.

I will be going to the O.R. in about 15 hours, 8:30 AM 9/10/03 for a lap RNY. I am not nervous NOW as I am sure everything will be fine. I have faith in my surgeon, whose skills I trusted with my daughter's operation five months ago. She is doing well, and I am sure I will have the same result!!
