Topic: FINALLY!!!!

Okay folks.. I am 18 days post op and feeling good. I started back to work today 1/2 days. These last 18 days have been a learning experience! More than once I've said, what the hell have I gotten myself into! But, then it passes. I have lost 13 lbs. Keep to your regimine. Sometimes its not easy. I overate once, and will NEVER, NEVER do it again. The pain was as bad as being in labor, trust me, and nothing can make it go away until it runs its course. Will keep you updated.. Thanks to all of you who gave me so much support before sugery!

My origional surgeon was called to active duty. I was lucky to have gotten him and lucky to have gotten Dr. Wiltse his replacement, oth of Bariatriac Treatment Centers. This is a national chain of 15 regional centers that do nothing but bariatriac surgery. I would recommend them highly as they SPECIALIZE in treating our current/prevous condition. Topic: Changing surgeons

Hello my name is Rose and after waiting since March to get into see Dr. O'Malley I am finally set for a group meeting in December, but surgery would not be for 3 to 4 months later so I think it is time to serch for another surgeon, any ideas. I am thinking of Dr. Cole of Horseheads/Corning. His turnaround time is 6 weeks. Beets 6 months. Although with Dr. O'Malley I could have the Lap and with Dr. Cole it is the Open. Hope everyone thinking about doing this or who have done this are all doing well. Thank you. Rose
