Congrats!!! I am scheduled for surgery on MOnday, September 29, 2003. I am sure that you experienced some of my nervousness. I will be OK because I haveprayed about this thing. My husband took me out to dinner last night, I was too excited to eat. Today, my liquid diet officially starts after lunch. This means that I am a little closer by the minute. Just think next year this time, we will be on top of the world. May God bless you and may heaven smile upon you.

I said a prayer for you. I asked that God will anoint anyone *****ads this (and all on this site) from the top of their head to the soles of their feet, and that he would open up the gates of heaven and pour out a blessing upon you that there shall not be room enough to contain it. I don't know your religion. But I will tell you that things happen for reasons we don't always understand. The darkest part of night is just before day. This situation will make you stronger. And you will be able to give someone advice in the future because you have gone through it. Just remember to thank God it is what is it. Don't compare yourself to examples of how much better things could be (anything). Rather yet compare yourself to examples of how much WORSE things could be. THAT WILL HELP YOU TO PRAISE GOD IN THE TIME OF CIR****TANCE! He made "OLD DRY BRITTLE BONES LIVE AGAIN"! Baby he can turn your situation, AND MY SITUATION around and work it out for the good of us. What looked like it was the worse thing that ever happened to you, can turn around to be the best thing that ever happened to you. The things that people do to harm you, can be turned around to make them bless you. Just keep your head up. There is more than what meets the eye! Sometimes we want things and can't understand why we don't get them, or why we dont get them when we want them. But God can see in the future for us. Hi Tammy, Sorry to hear about your set back but better to get things fixed so you don't have complications after the surgery. Think positive and have good thoughts. it will all happen when the tome is right. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I have a friend that had problems with his heart and had to post-pone his surgery and now he is doing better than ever and 140 lbs lighter. Shirley
