Tammy is right
We all should post more often. We share a timeline together, we all had our operations at around the same time, we experienced ups, downs, plateaus--all together. We walked the journey together. And we will continue to walk the journey together forever.
What am I thankful for? I am thankful that I was able to have this surgery with relatively little difficulty, excellent recovery, and now it has given me my health back. I know I will not be dependent on others to do for me, to fetch and carry. I can carry my own "weight" now.
What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful that I found out about this surgery and had the guts to follow through and fight the insurance company as well as not chicken out at the hospital before surgery. I'm SO thankful that I weigh 143 pounds less than I did 1 year 3 months ago! It is a blessing and I thank God, my family, my surgeon, and believe it or not...the INSURANCE COMPANY!
