Afraid of not losing anymore

Hi, just wanted to see if any of you guys who are a year out are going thru this. I am down 202 lbs from 477, but at 275, i still want to lose another 40 lbs at least. I have slowed down to about 3 lbs a month now. I can eat more now, except for dry meats which i still have trouble with. How are you doing one year out? Are you still loosing? How much on average? What do you do for cravings? thanks, your input will really help, Roger

HI Roger--I've lost 102 lbs, need to lose about (at least) 30 lbs more, but I've lost almost nothing in at least 2 months. I know what I need to do--push the protein, push the water, push the walking. I am going back to the beginning--I know the rules, what I need to do, and it's up to me. 3 lbs a month sounds great right now to me!!! Cravings--I am trying to fill my cravings with good things like yogurt or sugar free jello--the cravings don't last very long, and once they pass, they pass.

Roger, Congratulations on such a fantastic weight loss! I have slowed down also. I am seeing long platueaus and then a drop of anywhere of 3 to 6 lbs in a 6 weeks time. I think as long as you continue to work the progam you will continue losing...just slower. Mary Beth

Roger: First, congratulations on your weight loss. I am also going through a prolonged plateau and havent lost anything in a while. The good thing is that I'm not gaining anything either. I guess you can call it a balance of calories in and calories out. When I crave something I just havew a taste of it then it goes away. Then I go to the gym and work it off (LOL). Jesse

HI ROGER I CAN'T DO THE DRY MEATS EITHER. I HAVE LOST 137 AND SLOWED WAY DOWN TOO. 22 POUNDS IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS. I USE SUGAR FREE COOKIES OR SUGAR FREE LIFE SAVERS FOR SUGAR CRAVINGS. I DRINK PROPEL, CRYSTAL LITE, ICETEA AND WATER FLAVORED WITH ASUGAR FREE VANILLA FLAVORING. I DRINK AT LEAST ONE GALLON A DAY OF FLUIDS. I WANT TOO LOSE A TOTAL OF ABOUT 214 OR SO. I EAT NO PASTA, NO RICE, NO SUGAR AND LITTLE POTATOES. WHAT KIND OF STUFF DO YOU EAT? YOU HAVE DONE GREAT ON WEIGHT LOSS !!!
