Hi Everyone: I was sitting here at my desk at work and was asked by one of my co-workers "When are you going to stop losing weight? You look so thin." She sounded like my mother and my PCP who have been asking the same question. I now weigh 193 pounds which is a 180 pound weight loss. Here is today's poll question: Should I stop losing weight? You're welcome to look at my latest photo in my profile and then cast your vote. Jesse

Hey Jesse, I think that the only one that can answer that question is you. Only you know how you feel and at what weight you and your body are comfortable. That is my official answer. Congrats on your wonderful success! Carolyn Sue

Hi Jesse, You have to remember that your family and friends, etc. are used to you looking a certain way. It is a huge adjustment to them to see you in a different way--and their eyes are still adjusting to it! You'll know what weight works out best for you-what weight you are happiest with.... Congratulations on a spectacular weight loss-I am so impressed-if I could do cartwheels (which I can't -my surgery is a week and a half away)...I would!!!!!! Deb

Jessie congrats on your weight loss. If your comfortable with your results than forget what everyone else says. People ask me that same question. I tell them when I feel that I look the way I want to look. Fran

Hi Jesse, I saw you at the OH Event in NY and you looked great! You should be proud of your accomplishments. As others have said, only you know what is right for you but, I did do as you suggested and looked at your profile pictures but what I also looked at was what it says your BMI was. If that number is correct, then according to BMI charts you would still have to lose more weight. According to the charts, in order to be in normal weight range you have to have a BMI of 24.9 or lower. Have you updated that portion of your profile recently? Patti

In the pic, it appears that there is some excess skin, but no appreciable fat left. I say you look great. But as the other posters say, it's entirely up to you. Connie -125#

Jesse, you look amazing and I am very proud of your success. I love your Friday post, you are always so encouraging. Only you can answer that question but you know its actually not in your hands, when your body is finished losing then you will stop losing. You can not tell your body what to do. It will slack off and stop when its comfortable at its weight. You have come too far to let folks tell you that your too skinny or you need to stop. even when we were fat they were trying to change us, thats never gonna change even now! Hugs and best of luck, carol

Jessie, I think when it feels "right". Give yourself a little leeway for your body to settle...maybe an extra 5 lbs to go one way or the other. Only YOU know when you are where you want to be. You have done a tremendous job and are an inspiration. Congratulations! Mary Beth 283/185/150
