Finally I've joined the Century Club!

I just wanted to quickly post my most recent, major accomplishment. When I had my surgery Sept. 9, 2003, I weighed 257.2. Finally, after a good two or three weeks hovering at just around 99 pounds down since my surgery date, I made it over the 100-pound threshold this weekend. As of this morning, I weighed 155 pounds -- a weight loss of 102.2 pounds. I'm only five pounds from my initial goal of 150, at which point I'll have a BMI of 25 and can truly call myself "normal," even if all my friends might bicker with that classification. Now, of course, I'm angling to get as close as possible to my ideal weight, which is around 138 pounds. Who knows if I'll make it -- but as long as I stick to my workout/exercise regimen and I keep my eating healthy and in check, I think I have a shot. I feel great -- so healthy, so fit and even so attractive (despite the less-than-pleasant mugshot above). Life feels absolutely wonderful. Jen.
